Parent Volunteer Bond Policy
The Kelowna Minor Lacrosse Association (KMLA) Volunteer Bond Program encourages active participation from all members to help ensure the
efficient operation of the club. As KMLA is entirely volunteer-run, this program is vital in providing a quality lacrosse experience for everyone involved.
Volunteer Requirements:
- U7: Volunteer participation is encouraged, but no bond is collected.
- U9: 5 hours or 100 points, with a $100 bond cheque required.
- U11 through U17: 10 hours or 200 points, with a $200 bond cheque required.
- Max Family Bond: 20 hours or 400 points (for multiple children in the same family). Please review cheque submissions with your Team
Manager.
If you are unable to meet the volunteer requirement, you can pay the volunteer bond fee upfront at time of registration or to your Team Manager at the start of the season.
At the start of the season, cheques will be collected by your Team Manager and will be returned at the end of the season once the volunteer hours have been completed.
Tracking Volunteer Hours:
Please ensure you track your volunteer hours and submit your Volunteer Hours Log Sheet (see below) to your Team Manager at the end of the season.
The complete Volunteer Bond Policy document can be found in PDF format in the files section on our Home Page and Team Manager tools.
